Summer Time is Here!!

Wahoo for summertime!!  I'm excited to be home with my babies, wear my faker workout clothes, no makeup, and work on moving.  Yes big changes for our family and I couldn't be more excited.  But first let me catch up on some pictures from my phone.  We've been spending time outside playing on the swing set, jumping on the trampoline, or swinging on the porch (definitely something ill miss about this house-love the front porch).

We had a relaxing Mother's Day which included grilling and being lazy.  That's my style.

Landon and his dad have been fishing a lot either at the lake or on the river.

Landon started t-ball and he had his first game a week or so ago.  I went with him and of course he cried and didn't want to play.  He didn't want anyone watching him.  Ugh!!  He finally got over it and had a ball.  His team won 15-12.

His second game was at a different field and he didn't like that.  So he cried again and made me stand with him for everything.  The next game I'm staying home to see if that helps him.  Hopefully I'll get to go again...ha!  They won 15-10.
So about the house.  We started looking over a year ago.  We didn't look hard.  If we saw something we liked we would go look at it, but we never listed our house.  We figured if we found something worth it then we'd try to sell our house.  Well at the end of January/beginning of February our realtor told us she had a house she thought we should go see.  Well it was the house that we both loved and knew we wanted to sell our house for. So we made an offer on February 5th and after many months we got the house.  That was May 15th (short sales=longest process ever).  I put word on FB that we got a house and that  we need to sell ours.  Well, my neighbor and her mom came over Thursday to see it and on Saturday the 18th her mom made an offer which we accepted.  So our house is sold too!!  God is good! I've started trying to sell some stuff and today I started packing some things we don't use a lot.  Right now the closing is June 17th but we think it might be later than that.  Hopefully not so we can move straight to the new house instead of a rental or something.  I know things will work out since it has so far so just praying about it and staying positive!!
And my realtor told us by sending me flowers which was super sweet and a fun way to find out.

It's going to be a busy summer but I'm ready!  Next week I am on the interview committee at work so I have that, in-service and CGI training in July, and the move whenever that happens.  Hope the next couple months go slow.
And I thought this was sweet!  After school as I was going to get the boys I saw a visitor behind me.  Landon left spiderman hanging off the window.  Guess that is something I'm going to see a lot as a mom to boys!

What's Going On

Let me start off by showing my recent purchases or a few I've made that I'm still waiting on! I ordered the blush by e.l.f. in tickled pink. This blush was compared to Nara orgasm blush (which is my favorite ever) but the price difference was about $25 so I thought I'd at least try. I'll let y'all know what I think about it once I get it. I also reordered the Wen sweet almond mint cleansing conditioner. I was reading a blog that did a review of the wen and she wasn't all about it. I actually really like it. It smells good, makes my hair seem to grow, and definitely makes it more healthy. Now I don't use it ever day and I think if I did it would make my hair greasy...so I only use it once or twice a week. Something I picked up at Walmart last weekend was a new Jillian DVD called Kickbox FastFix. I haven't tried it yet because the day when I tried to do it Bennett was a little fussy so I gave up. I usually just do the 30 day shred or ripped in 30 since I know those, but I will try it soon and let y'all if I make it! And check out my new iPad cover!!! Lance ordered it for me and I love it. The colors match my phone case and my license plate. I love chevron so he did good! And he got it at Walmart for under $25 so it was cheaper than my little flip cover I was using and this one protects the iPad a lot better.
We've had a busy week at the Kindergarten. My friend from school had her baby last week and it was a boy! She named him Samuel Elliott and he is definitely a cutie. Can't wait to go meet him. We also had registration on Friday and I think we registered 274 kiddos just that day. We usually register 40-60 more kids from now until fall. It was a long day but its kind of fun to see what we will be getting next school year...and sometimes you get a bit scared by what you see...ha! I think one thing that's hard for K teachers (there is a lot of things hard about teaching plus teaching K) is starting the year off with these tiny little kids who are scared and there are some who have no experience with school/rules. Then we get them in shape and life gets a bit easier....and then they go to 1st grade....and we start all over again. You truly forget throughout the school year how far you've come with those 20 bodies in your classroom. Gotta love kindergarten!!!
My boys are doing good. We fought allergies/colds last week but I think we are about to get past that. Bennett has discovered climbing things which drives me crazy. Guess I need to toddler proof my baby proof stuff. Landon will have his last week of Blast next week at church. His teacher Amanda sent me a picture of Landon and Luke playing outside. They are sweet boys!
Well next week is a crazy week. We have end of the year testing so I'll have release time on Tuesday & Wednesday and then on Thursday & Friday I have math common core meetings all day at the HS. Only 4 weeks left or 18 more days. That sounds better!!!

Goodbye April

I can't believe we're about to enter May. That makes me think of another school year ending and a summer home with my babies! Come on May! We haven't been doing anything too exciting. We seem to be healthy for the most part and I pray we stick to that.
Landon is getting so big! He is playing t-ball this year and he's had two practices so far. The first one I went to but he just cried when he saw me and didn't want to play. So I stayed home last week and he did fine. He's a mamas boy and I was the same way when I was little so I can't blame him. His friends Luke and Brayden are on his team and I know he's going to make a bunch of new friends through this adventure.
Bennett is a wild man and we love him to pieces! He is sleeping good and he loves being outside. Hopefully the weather will stay nice and get over these cold random days. The other night I let him eat Oreos and the kid got filthy. I seriously turned my head a minute and he was covered. Eek!!!
Landon has got to do some fun stuff with his daddy! They went to a birthday party down on the river so he spent most of the time playing there. He also went to the weigh-in last weekend. He likes anything do to with fishing. And thankfully the hubs got a boat from work so maybe we'll all be able to go some.
On school news...the boys had picture day and so my sister sent me a picture of their proofs. I can't wait to order them. Landon has been getting report cards from his class (which I love seeing) and he did great. Still has to practice writing his name on lined paper but I have kindergarten kids who still have issues with that. In my class, I've started organizing and going through stuff. I like to do this at the end of the school year so it's done when I go back in August. We've only got 21 days left...whoop whoop!
I think awhile back I posted about a new jillian DVD called ripped in 30. Well I LOVE it! Does it kick my butt and make me sore? Umm...YES! I try to do it every other day but that doesn't always happen. I really enjoy her tapes because they're quick and I can do them around two wild boys. And sometimes they join me in doing the moves.
This week I finally went out and bought my first colored pant. I went with the teal color and I can't wait to wear them. Here's a pic of the top I put with them. Hopefully it looks good!
Well I'm going to enjoy this gloomy day, hang out with my boys, and wait for the hubs to finish his fishing tournament. Those that fish on rainy days are definitely dedicated.
