10 Months

Baby Bennett is now 10 months old.
Aww...isn't he the cutest thing ever?!?  This month has kind of been rough for Bennett.  He has been dealing with an ear infection and red throat so he's been on antibiotics most of the month.  The first round apparently didn't kill it, then the second medicine made him have a rash (or so we think), and the third one finally kicked it.  We've all had a few rough nights because of this but thankfully now we're getting back on track.
Bennett is weighing 24.5 pds, he still wears size 4 diapers, clothes are definitely 18 months, he has 3 teeth that I see and he might be working on more, he still army crawls but the past few days he has started to stand alone so I bet he'll attempt walking soon, he eats more vegetables than fruit (I think it is too sweet for him), he drinks anywhere from 6-8 oz each bottle, he loves his yogurt melts & crunchies, he loves to be held which makes it hard for mommy to get things done, he loves watching his brother, he says mama and dada really good, and he is still a sweet, easy baby boy!
Good shirt especially for our month!
Poor baby just didn't feel good.  We got home from school at 4 PM and he just laid on me all night.  I loved cuddling my baby but wish he felt better.

This is the best picture of bed head.  He was rocking it!
Happy 10 months Bennett!!!

Birthday Boy

Saturday we celebrated this sweet boy!
He turned the big 4 and he was super excited about his special day.  He woke up and wanted us to tell him happy birthday.  He's silly!  We do small parties but eventually we'll do bigger for him.  This kid loves power rangers so that is what he requested.

A few people couldn't make it because of sickness so my parents brought Audrey & Christian and then Sharmin and Logan came.
Landon got new games for his iPad (innotab but we call it his iPad), another wrestling buddy, some action figure toys, and a trampoline.
After eating, playing, and visiting everyone went home and we kept Christian so they could continue to play.  Lance bundled them up and they jumped (or wrestled) on the trampoline, played on the swing set, and ran around.
Once they came in they played upstairs and on the stairs (which scared me but I actually started it), played Mario Kart on the Wii, and ate some more.

My sister got Landon a new shaving kit and he was so excited to use it.  I made him wait till after church but as soon as we got home he was in the bath shaving away.

Landon has truly blessed our lives so much and we just love him more than he'll ever know.  He is such a sweet, kind hearted boy.  He is a Mommy's boy and I wouldn't change that for anything.  He has been such a good big brother to Bennett and he handled a new addition to our family better than we could have asked for.
Here are a few things I want to remember about Landon.  He is wearing size 4T in tops and 5T in bottoms, shoe size is 12, he weighs 40.5 pds, he was recently on antibiotics for a red ear and throat which he hasn't been sick in forever, he can write his name, he can count to 100 with just a little help, and he knows all his letters and I think all the sounds.  He loves to be read to, he enjoys playing on the iPads, computers, phones, etc.  He really enjoys learning!  He is definitely shy when it comes to some things...aka....Christmas program at church.
Little stinker would not go up on the stage and sing his song.

Happy Birthday to Landon and his buddy Luke.  Can't believe we celebrated 4 years already.  It goes so fast!

Less than 2 weeks till Christmas...eek!!!

Well my blog is working now and I didn't even buy more storage...hmm???  I won't complain and I'll take advantage and blog what has been happening lately.

On December 1st John Mark (our elf) came back to our house.  He surprised us with breakfast!
He has been pretty silly lately and we have been super excited to find him every morning!  I have been taking a picture every day but I forgot yesterday (hoping the hubs got it).

Landon loves the word UNDERWEAR so John Mark decorated our tree with his undies and then the next night he was reading Froggy Gets Dressed.  And of course it was on the page where froggy realizes he forgot his underwear.

John Mark made us all look like Rudolph and brought us the Christmas classic movies.

Lance always teases about NOEL being LEON so one morning John Mark had changed it!

We found reindeercam.com on pinterest a few weeks back and you can go there and watch Santa feed his reindeer.
At school we've been busy crafting (and learning of course) and the kids are having so much fun!

Lance and I celebrated 6 years of marriage on December 9th.  I'm very blessed to be married to my best friend, a godly man who loves the Lord, and a man who is the best daddy to our two sweet boys!
To celebrate we picked up 178 Friday night and had our anniversary dinner with our two babies (wouldn't have it any other way) and on Saturday we went out to eat with our best friends at Yoshi's.
Bennett hadn't napped much that afternoon so he was a bit clingy so I held him the entire time but Landon did good.

Bennett turned 9 months at the end of November.  He weighed 24 pounds which was the same as Landon, he has 2 teeth but I think we'll be seeing another tooth very soon, he has had two ear infections recently (finishing an antibiotic right now), he has been sleeping through the night except for the before medicine nights, he is wearing size 4 diapers, clothes are usually 12 mths, he is still crawling like a salamander, pulling up on everything and walking around, I was told he said "doctor" and "becca" which I do believe it, he still is an easy baby boy who hardly ever cries, doesn't take a paci, eats 6 oz bottles plus baby food thoughout the day.  He has blessed our lives so much and we are so thankful for him!

His new jammies from his auntie Brooke.  She loves her little Ben Ben!
Passing down outfits so I have to take pictures.

Found this shirt at Walmart and thought it was perfect.

Thought this was a sweet picture of the boys looking out and waiting on Papaw and Grandma to come visit.

Thanksgiving 2012

Thanksgiving was extra special this year with our TWO babies.  We definitely have a lot to be thankful for!  Our first stop was at my Mamaw's house for lunch and we then went straight to Viola.
It's kind of hard getting family pictures but we made it work!

Landon is kind of obsessed right now with holding and carrying Bennett.
 Thankful for these two sweeties!

Storage Trouble

OK I've seen a lot of people talking about this storage issue and I'm having it too.  That explains the absence from blogging.  So once I have a few seconds to figure it out I'll be back.  Right now baby Bennett has his 2nd ear infection.  Thankfully my sister helped me out and took him to the doctor so he now has an antibiotic and a steroid.  Needless to say we are a bit tired and not getting much rest. Is it Friday yet?!?

O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!

How lovely are your branches!

YEAH!!  My tree is finished and shining oh so bright even as I type this!  It was an all day project yesterday but it's up.  I did have to do it in stages since I had two sweet boys home with me but they cooperated and we got it done.
I love my tree!  I bought all new stuff last year because I wanted the traditional red and green tree.  I plan to buy more fun things over the years to make it even fuller but I LOVE it as it is now.  Oh and I have a red tree skirt but I plan to make one or find one that I like a bit better.
Here is my topper which I love!
And my big helper who was more in to Home Alone 2.  We had to watch it while we put up the tree!  Bennett has done good with it so far...fingers crossed!  He only gets by it when we're around it so I think we'll be fine.  Not sure if I'll put presents out early or wait?!?  I"m not sure how that would go but I do have a lot of stuff upstairs ready to wrap.

And here is the mantel.  I love our new stockings (got them from simpleaddiction.com) and the NOEL I found at TJ Maxx a few months back.  I think I might get some red candles for the holders.
Today we might do our Walmart trip as long as the boys promise to be good for me, but I don't plan on much more than that.  I was planning on taking B to school today so Landon and I could have a little time together but when I asked him about taking brother to school he told me NO.  He said he'd miss him...how to you say no to that!
