A Question They Might Ask...

Where were you when Prince William and Kate married?
Well since it started around 3 AM I was snoozing in my bed :)  Once I woke up I did turn the TV on to see what it was like and I did record it because I think it is a special moment and I didn't want to miss out.
I thought Kate looked beautiful and I loved her dress.  The two seem like such a sweet couple and I can't wait to see their babies!
One thing that I loved was the trees lining the aisle...I thought that was so pretty!
I guess I'm not too upset about not being invited since they did allow us to watch on TV.  How nervous would you be if your wedding was being viewed by millions of people?
Tense moment: Prince William puts the ring on Kate, Duchess of Cambridge's finger during their wedding ceremony at Westminster Abbey
So beautiful!
And not 1...but 2 sweet kisses!
I loved their second outfits too.  That girl is tiny!  I'm sure anyone would be that tiny from all of that pressure.  But she still looked great!
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge this morning and looking lovely!

So today I hope to watch the wedding as long as Landon allows me to.  And I plan to work on my couponing.  I am definitely interested in this whole couponing game so I am starting slowly.  Its a lot of planning which I think I'm good at....but we'll see!

Had EGD done and everything was normal...which is good! The next test is a scan of my gallbladder & that is scheduled for the 9th. For now I am going to go sleep :)

I am trying out blogging from my phone! Let's see if it works :)

Doctors Appointment

Well I met with the GI doctor yesterday morning and I was very pleased with everything.  He asked me tons of questions and he shared lots of helpful information.  He has decided to do an EGD (upper GI scope) so he can see if I have any acid damage.  He did say that 50% of these scopes come back normal and if mine does then the next step will be to do a gallbladder scan to see if my gallbladder is functioning properly.  I go Thursday for the scope so I will be taking the day off since they use anesthesia for the procedure.  Lance is going to drive me...love that guy!  The doctor will come out when he's done and tell Lance what he saw.  I'm glad it is fast results and we can get things going.

So here in Arkansas we have been getting lots of storms and tons of rain!  Due to flooding and a tornado there have already been ten deaths.  I pray for all of those families who lost loved ones and those who lost their homes.  It looks like tonight we are in for more storms so not sure when this will be over.

Easter Weekend

I have a few pictures to post that are from my phone and of course they are of my sweet baby!
We got out our chalk and we've spent a lot of time drawing on the front porch.

On Thursday night he was pushing around his metal dump truck (for some reason it was in the house-it is his outside truck) and he slipped and fell right into the silly thing.  He immediately started crying and there was a good mark on the corner of his eye. He even had a bit of a bloody nose too.  This picture was taken Friday before going into daycare.
This weekend he was watching The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lava girl and the kid was really into the movie.  I had to get his picture.
Not even noticing his mommy taking his picture.
But now he saw me and thought it was funny that I was taking his picture.
With any sign of thunder we have to put Abby somewhere safe.  The dog will dig out of the yard (chewing up our wood fence if it's in her way) and run away if we don't.  So Landon enjoys going out in the garage and playing with her.  At first he was petting her but then he started to copy her.  It was hilarious!  Nasty because he was on the ground but still hilarious.  I did give him a bath immediately after these pictures.

 So funny :)
I think he thought Abby was looking at something under my car.
Friday at school we had our Easter egg hunt and party.  The kiddos were a bit wild but I don't blame them.  My class brought a total of 304 eggs for our hunt so each child got to find 16 eggs...and they found every single one of them and plus some.  As soon as the day was over I hurried home to get ready for my girls night with Gwen.  We have had this day planned for a couple months now and it is probably our last outing before Evan gets here.  We first went to get pedicures and they were fabulous!  I talked Gwen into getting a manicure (I have acrylic nails by my Amy so I just watched her) and they looked great!  After our feet pampering we ran to get a few things at Stage and then headed to the Back Forty for dinner.  I haven't been there in such a long time but it was really good.  I enjoy spending time with Gwen and am so happy we became best friends.  We have many wonderful memories together and I know we'll have many more!
Saturday the boys and I headed to Lowe's to get our ferns and a few other things.  I love our ferns on our porch.  We have a great front porch for them.  We were kind of lazy the rest of the day and couldn't go outside due to all the storms.  I know storms are scary for most but I love the sounds and I love being stuck in the house.

The easter bunny came to visit Landon!

 Checking out what he got.
 Messy but he liked it!
Sunday we went to our church service which is always wonderful.  Landon actually made it the entire time out in the service with us.  I told him on the way to church that he had to sit good and be quiet the entire time or he would go to nursery by himself.  I told him that mommy can't go to nursery and stay.  I know that might be cruel but the kid won't go to nursery by himself and I miss out on church service.  So he was really good & probably the best he's been in a long time...I think I'll give him that little talk every Sunday morning :)
 Easter 2011
Lance made fun of his mom because he said she never takes a picture that is centered!  I still think it turned out good.
 Nana and Landon
The sweet boy ready for church :)

After church we all came back home, had lunch and then everyone took a nap.  Landon and I went to our bedroom, Judy went to the guest bedroom and Lance took the couch.  After everyone was up I went to Wal-Mart really fast and then came back and started cooking a little with Judy.  I think I am craving strawberries because that was our theme for the evening.
She mentioned strawberry pie and I of course had to have one.  Doesn't that look wonderful?!?  Let me just say...there is now some missing pieces ;)
Next we did chocolate covered strawberries.  I am horrible with the chocolate but no matter what they look like they still taste awesome!  My mom came over this evening to bring Landon his easter basket and he got even more great stuff.  He got bubbles, candy, more sidewalk chalk, a book and other things.  I think his favorite was the punching balloon - those balloons on the string that you pound.  He loves those balloons and I haven't found any in awhile so I was glad he got a new one.  We've had a lot of fun with it this evening.
So if I can stop eating I think I'll think about going to bed.  Tomorrow Landon and I get to sleep in since I have my GI doctors appointment.  I am taking 1/2 a day and going to be as lazy as I can.  I hope the doctor helps me figure out my belly issues so I can start feeling better.  It's been a rough couple of months and I am tired of it.  I just want an answer...it's hard when you don't know what is wrong with you.  I'll keep you updated on the next steps of my belly journey.

Reading Material

So I am on a mission to finish Water for Elephants before this weekend so I can go watch the movie.  (I got this book on my iPhone Kindle app a few months ago but it was hard for me to get in to so that is why it isn't finished.)  I have never been one to go to the movies just because I think it is way too expensive but here lately I enjoy going.  I don't go a lot but every time there is a new Twilight movie I'm there.  So anyway...Water for Elephants is coming out this weekend and I think I want to go watch it.  I love Reese Witherspoon and Robert Pattinson isn't too bad either :)

I also want to read these.

I enjoy watching there shows so I think I'd like their book.  Lance will make fun of me...but at least I'm reading...right?!?

I think this would be a funny book so I'll probably get it too!

So I am still having belly issues and I went to see my doctor about it today.  He referred me to a GI so my appointment is next Monday.  He wants them to see what is up with me and thinks it is time to go there.  I just want an answer so I'll go wherever.  My doctor did give me a prescription to use if I need to before I get to the GI so I should be able to make it a week.....so good blog title right?!?

Great Weekend!

We had a wonderful weekend and we have lots of pictures to prove it!

Friday night we had the Bentons over for a cookout.  I love the Bentons!  They truly are our best friends and mean so much to us.  Just a side note-It was Gwen who introduced me to Lance...she's our match maker :)  For the menu we decided to just do hamburgers and hotdogs-trying to keep it simple after a week of testing.  We all just sat outside and let the boys play and we got to sit back and watch.  It was wonderful!

Aren't these boys the cutest or what?!?
I wonder what they are talking about in this picture?
The boys had a blast in the gator!  Luke drove Landon all around the yard.
We tried to play baseball but they decided to haul it in the back of the gator instead.

Luke spent most of the time driving the gator but Landon gets tired of it quickly.  He found dandalions and had fun blowing those around the yard.

I was able to grab Landon for a quick picture!

Saturday morning we got up and around pretty early to go to Springfield.  Lance had to take some clothes back to PFI and we wanted to take Landon to the zoo.  It was so much fun!

It was a pretty big zoo and it was a beautiful day!  I even got a sunburn on my shoulders...next time I'll use sunscreen.
Landon had fun checking it all out but I'll admit...he was a big chicken.  If an animal came near us he'd squeal and want to be held.  At the end of the zoo trip a peacock came around a corner and I thought Landon was going to have a break down.  He stopped and darted back to my arms.  It wa pretty hilarious!

Landon loved it when the bear was taking a bath!

The giraffes were so close to us we could feed them...but we just looked at them.

Landon spent a lot of time on his daddy's shoulders.  It was easy to keep up with him this way-but I bet Lance was tired!
Landon keeps mentioning the elephants in the washer.  Remember...he doesn't like the carwash and I guess he remembers those brushes.   The elephants kept rubbing up against the brushes and it made him think of that...so smart!

It was an awesome trip and Landon did so good!  We left at 9 AM and didn't get home till 8 PM.  Can't wait for more family trips!

Sunday was church and then we stayed around the house.  Lance mowed and of course Landon had to be outside so we helped out as much as we could.  I bought Landon a water gun at Wal-Mart and we had fun squirting each other.

Tomorrow night is our Kindergarten musical.  We have three groups going and of course my program isn't until 7:30.  Looks like it will be a late night for me.  I'm old and go to bed at 8:30...I can't help it!
